What is a Standard Bikini?

A quick gentle wax to remove visible pubic hair from outside the knickers.

What is a Extended Bikini?

A two finger width strip of hair is removed from the two sides going in narrow at the bottom. The top of the pubic line is perfected and underneath just on the butt cheeks is removed.

What is a Brazilian?

A Bikini Wax where only a strip of hair remains. All the hair from the labia (lips) and bum is removed. A “Landing” strip or small triangle is left on the bikini area.

What is a Hollywood?

A Hollywood wax leaves you completely bare. Totally bald. All pubic hair is removed.

Does it hurt?

You may feel a slight discomfort. This only lasts a few seconds. Once you have been waxed the hair weakens, so each time it becomes more comfortable. For best results return every 4-6 weeks for waxing.

What do I do before my wax?

A few days before, exfoliate the area. On the day of your wax do not moisturise, apply deodorants or have any hot showers or heat based treatments.

What is Hot Wax?

It’s a hard wax that you peel off. It shrink wraps around the hair and lifts it up from the follicle and simply peels off. Suitable for facial, underarm and bikini. This wax is great for sensitive skin.

What is Strip Wax?

This is a wax that you remove with a paper strip.

What is no Double Dipping?

No double dipping is the spatula goes into the wax the wax is then placed on the client and the spatula goes straight into the bin.

What is a patch test?

A patch test is a way of checking that your customer isn’t allergic to the products you’re using to treat them. Ideally you put a small amount of the product to do a skin test in an innocuous place on your customers body e.g. you might try some leg wax on a hair free area such as the wrist or you may put some tint behind the ear. This is required 24 hours before treatment.
